Non-Denominational Monuments

When designing a memorial, many families choose to honor their loved one with non-denominational symbols, such as hearts and inspirations from nature. In fact, studies show that close to 23% of our population in the United States identifies as non-religious. At Travis Monument Group, we offer a wide range of non-denominational memorial options. Our caring staff will take the time to understand your loved one and will work with your family to create a custom monument that honors their life and what they loved most.

Enduring Love – Hearts

Hearts are one of the most popular symbols families select to honor their loved ones, and they can represent both the love for family as well as the everlasting love between two people. For example, many couples choose companion heart monuments to honor their permanent connection to each other. At Travis Monument Group, we can create stunning custom memorials in the shape of a heart, or we can feature hearts as beautiful etchings and engravings.

Elements of Nature

Elements of nature speak to both the beauty and brevity of life. Many people feel intense connections to nature throughout their lifetimes, and symbols such as trees, birds, flowers, oceans, and mountains are often requested by the families we serve. Families may choose to add mom’s favorite flower to her memorial or an etching of dad’s favorite retreat in the mountains. Our experienced design experts will help you incorporate the beauty of nature into a fitting tribute to your loved one.

Examples of Our Design Work

Charles & Anthony Gentlemen: I am writing to you today to let you know how very pleased I am with the stone you made for my husband. It is such a difficult time of your life when you lose a loved one of so many years together, and you no longer have a “partner” to talk to. Visiting the cemetery does not help when it’s “just a grave” with no markers or flowers. When I picked out the stone for my husband’s grave, I had no idea it would mean so much to me. Thank you once again for the beauty and perfection of the stone and your professional work.
